Profile
Xiao He is an Associate Professor at School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Prior to this role, he completed postdoc training in Department of Aeronautics, Imperial College London and obtained his PhD degree in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Imperial College London. His research focuses on turbo-oriented data-driven turbulence modeling that enables fast and effective designs of next generation turbomachinery products. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed academic papers and accumulated over 500 citations from Google Scholar. He received the 2024 GPPS Early Career Award, the 2023 Katopodis Prize for the best PhD thesis in Thermofluids division of Imperial College London, and was named a finalist for the 2022 ASME IGTI Turbomachinery Committee Best Paper Award.
