Dr. Kun Jiang is currently an associate professor of mechanical engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). He obtained a Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from Fudan University in 2016, held a Baden-Württemberg Fellowship at Institut für Oberflächenchemie und Katalyse, Ulm, and completed postdoctoral trainings at Harvard, Lawrence Berkeley and U.C. Berkeley. In 2019, he joined SJTU as a Principle Investigator, with the research focus of developing advanced reactor devices and spectroelectrochemical techniques for renewable energy utilization. Dr. Jiang received the Shanghai Natural Science Award (2019) and the South Texas Section AIChE 2018 Best Fundamental Paper Award.

Developing pilot electrochemical reaction devices with novel catalysts integrated for more efficient carbon-neutral energy conversion.
